Reiki Healing

I am a qualified Second-Degree Usui Reiki Practitioner, offering gentle energy healing to support relaxation, balance, and overall well-being.

Usui Reiki is a Japanese healing modality developed over 100 years ago by Buddhist monk Mikao Usui. The word Reiki means Universal Life Force Energy , an energy that helps bring the mind, body, and spirit into harmony, reducing stress and promoting deep relaxation.

What I love most about Reiki is that it naturally flows where it’s needed most for each individual. Reiki is suitable for both adults and children, and treatments can be provided hands-on or hands-off, depending on your comfort level, both are equally effective.

During your session, you’ll be welcomed into a calm, relaxing environment designed to help you unwind. You may be asked to remove your shoes so you can fully relax, but all other clothing remains on throughout the treatment. Sessions can take place lying on a therapy couch or seated, depending on your preference.

Reiki Aftercare suggestions

After your Reiki treatment, I encourage you to rest and be gentle with yourself as your body continues to process the healing energy. It’s important to drink plenty of water following your session, as Reiki can activate your body’s natural healing process , hydration helps to flush out toxins and support balance.

If possible, try to avoid caffeine and alcohol and choose fresh, nourishing foods for the next 48 hours to help maintain your sense of calm and clarity. These steps are not mandatory but can enhance your overall experience and well-being.

In-Person and Distance Reiki

I offer in-person Reiki sessions in Sidcup and Margatem Kent and distance Reiki for those who are unable to visit in person. Distance Reiki is just as effective as an in-person session, no preparation is needed, and you can simply relax in a quiet, comfortable space at home. Because Reiki works with universal energy, it can be shared and received regardless of physical location.
